When David Rickard set up his dental practice in Dorking in 1985 he built on the philosophy of keeping an open door where patients are always welcome. We have kept this philosophy as our practice commitment ever since. We are always here to help and care for a patient in need or in pain, whatever is needed however long it takes. We offer a truly comprehensive service for all your needs in general, specialist prosthodontic (crowns, bridges, dentures implants) and periodontic dentistry (gum disease management), endodontics (root canal treatments) and cosmetic dentistry including implants. Our aim is that a general dentist is always available that working day.

Our Practice offers a wide range of dental services which include:

• Diagnostics including digital x-rays and photgraphy

• Hygienist appointments over 3 days per week
• Immediate viewing of digital x-rays for instant diagnosis and treatment of your problem on the same day.
• New pan-oral digital x-rays for reviewing implants and wisdom teeth as well as gum disease
• Chair side monitors for viewing records notes and health charts with patients
• 2 incoming lines for fast access to reception

We are open Thursday evenings and some Saturday mornings, there is very little general practice dentistry we cannot provide.

Our hygienist team is trained in all aspects of dental disease prevention. We strongly recommend to all of our patients the importance of regular visits, this greatly assists in the treatment of gum disease and prevention of tooth decay.
